Confluence is looking for an experienced Regulatory Business Analyst who is passionate about transaction reporting regulations and wants to help solve customer /industry business problems. The successful candidate will join a dynamic environment working with cross-functional teams to design, build and roll-out products that serve the post-trade transaction reporting space.
The following are key facets of the duties and responsibilities connected to this role:
Source and document detailed requirements for our transaction reporting platform in terms of regulatory reporting or compliance changes, with high-quality user stories and clearly defined acceptance criteria
Assist the product management team maintain the relevant regulatory-driven product feature backlog and roadmap, as well as feeding into the process of prioritization of tickets for each product sprint based on service team, market, and customer impact
Have a deep understanding of the derivative reporting space, be able to generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth.
Demonstrate ability and initiative to:
Translate regulatory technical standard (RTS) requirements provided by regulator or competent authorities into functional requirements in JIRA that will be used by internal delivery teams for development
Regulatory SME of EMIR and MiFID II Regulation
Perform analysis related to XML schema requirements to determine gaps between current and new validations.
Perform SQL queries and database joins, create views and manipulate tables
Design analytics related to transaction reporting workflows using volume data feeds from our platform.
SimCorp dimension knowledge is a nice to have, but not a must.
Act as a regulatory evangelist to build awareness and understanding of the regulations internally as well as externally, along with the regulatory SME and Product Manager,
Feed into the process where we develop clear strategic vision for our product
Have some client facing experience
What skills and experience do I need to succeed?
The ideal candidate will be working today in the RegTech / FinTech space as a business analyst, or indeed be working for a data reporting service provider (trade repository/ ARM), or in the investment industry as a business analyst with direct exposure to EMIR, MiFIR and SFTR.
The role will specifically appeal to candidates with deep knowledge of EMIR/ SFTR reporting, high attention to detail and who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with direct exposure to internal delivery teams (development, QA, implementation, and managed-services).
